Workplace Access and Safety is a successful business that has offered consulting, advisory and inspection services to the height safety industry in Australia for many years. We are currently enjoying unprecedented, exponential growth both locally and interstate. As a result, at the beating heart of the business our Financial Controller is drowning in paperwork and admin. He desperately needs a calm, competent, clear-headed and very experienced right hand person to free him up to do his real job. If this sounds like you then we really want to hear from you!

About the role

This is an interesting and varied role reflecting the many different areas of the business currently overseen by the FC. Thus you will be asked to:-

• be his key point of contact — screening, prioritising, responding to, and redirecting all forms of communication as required
• understand and confidently navigate business and supplier relationships
• proactively manage his diary to make best use of his time and minimise scheduling conflicts
• schedule and co-ordinate meetings both in-house and off-site
• provide general administrative support and oversee day to day operations
• monitor the timely lodgement of reports from the business's consulting arm
• other duties from time to time as appropriate

• is a superstar of calm efficiency, maturity, initiative, responsibility and proactivity
• has proven experience looking after the needs of a busy senior manager in a complex environment
• is a quick learner with sound judgement, discretion and attention to detail
• is IT savvy, has very fast typing speed and high level skills in MS Office
• can demonstrate a professional level of written and spoken communication
• speaks flawless English
• has a confident, engaging telephone manner to deal with both incoming and outgoing enquiries
• lives locally in the Bayside and Southeastern suburbs area of Melbourne.
