Our client is a leading international Logistics organisation looking to expand its successful presence in the Asia Pacific region. Well established facilities and resources throughout Europe, Asia, America and Canada, and a comprehensive range of products and services, will provide you with immense opportunity to build on the company’s existing Australian client base.  

 

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director based in Japan, you will have ownership and accountability for the growth of the Australian market.

 

The Role

What will you bring?

  • Significant experience in strategic planning for genuine competitive advantage in both company owned and 3rd party party logistics services.
  • Proven achievement of collaborative win/win operational and financial initiatives.
  • A sound knowledge of the benefits of technology in an industry dependent on measurement, management and productivity.
  • Ability to onboard, train and successfully develop human resources capable of delivering collaborative and profitable financial, operational, and administrative results.
  • Commercial acumen and an eye for strategic alliances and opportunities.
  • An instinct for innovation, and knowledge of progressive trends.
  • A leadership mindset based on empowerment, individual and team success, and structured collaboration with all stakeholders.
